It’s almost too incredible.

11. All the design on all Marc Jacobs products is in house. That means every t-shirt, headband, necklace, glove, tsotchke you find at the Stuff by Marc Jacobs store on Bleeker was designed by the Marc Jacobs creative team.

Did you know that in Paris and Italy one roaming the streets with a fake bag can get arrested and fined? For some of you, you might think that's crazy. But the truth is, counterfeit bags ARE a crime. They support human trafficking, child labor, drug cartels, in some cases terrorism, and much more. They mess up the economy because the tax revenues are not being circulated back to the designer and economy. So basically you're effing up the economy and screwing the fashion designer.

Well that shouldn't be new to you, since I blogged about it awhile ago. However, I never knew that fashion copycats cough cough Forever21 cough could get away with making knock offs in the USA.

artistic works, but rather as “useful articles,” and useful things are not granted copyright protection. This rule reflects the fact that useful things are supposed to be the domain of patent law. But clothing designs virtually never qualify for patent protection, because they are almost never “novel” – i.e., truly new – in the way patent law requires.

Diesel

Am watching the Diesel show live on cocoperez. what a lackluster collection!! the only thing i liked was the heels the models wore. The line literally looked like the 90s grunge look with the light wash high waisted jeans with plaid shirts tied around the waist. The opening was just horrible. Lots of leather vests and even denim overalls. There was just too much denim and leather combinations all around. So for me, this show as a no go. However, the dresses (mostly the black ones) at the end were constructed very well. For a street look that Diesel embraces he should just stick to jeans and cocktail dresses.

Valentines Day

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEE Jennifer Garner's dress at the Valentines Day Premier. I love the detailing of the beading with the softness of the leather and the satin with the black contrasting the beige. This has got to be one of my favorite dresses I've seen on the red carpet. And she looks absolutely stunning, from her smokey makeup and her hair so beautifully done. Jessica Biel should probably hire Garner's stylist or even hit up Valentino. Don't get me wrong, I like the dress (Though she matched the carpet) it just wasn't for her (Sorry Oscar de La Renta). Her hair could have been done differently as well. (Surprised Anne Hatheway didn't wear Valention, since she was a spokeswoman for him once). But you all know I love her too. She looked amazing from her hair to makeup and dress! Julia Robers (in Dior) was too safe with her dress and Emma Watson looked washed out in her white dress. (Blah). Jessica Alba's dress looked like a cocktail dress (even though i liked it). However, I'm not a fan of her haircut. Other than that my top 2 of the night is def Jennifer Garner and Anne Hatheway.
